The Career Of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was born on June 18, 1989. He is a Gabonese footballer, and he is currently playing for the French soccer club, Saint Etienne. This is a Ligue 1 club. He also represents Gabon internationally. His playing position is forward.

Pierre-Emerick AubameyangIn January 2007, he joined the youth team, AC Milan. That August, the squad he played for placed fourth at the first ever Champions Youth Cup. This event took place in Malaysia. As the number one scorer, he was given the Roberto Bettega Trophy. During the tournament, he scored seven goals over the course of six games. During the 2008-09 season, his team sent him to play with Dijon to gain experience playing on the first team. He did so well during that time that he ended up being in a magazine about scouting soccer talent.

On June 24, 2009, a Ligue 1 club decided to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on loan. He played for the team, Lille that season. He was signed, again on loan, the following season to the team Monaco. While playing for Monaco, he scored his first goal for them on August 21, 2010. He scored it during an away game. He scored again eight days later against AJ Auxerre during his team’s 2-0 victory. Six months later, he was again loaned to a soccer club. This time, he was playing for AS Saint Etienne. He was there until the season ended, and at that time, the loan was extended to include the entire following season. On December 22, 2011, he signed with them on a permanent basis.

He has had some success internationally throughout his career. He received an invitation to play for Italy in the Under 19 competition after a successful season playing with Dijon. However, his debut came when he played for France in the Under 21 category. This was in February 2009, and it was against Tunisia. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was picked to be on the Gabon football team, and made his first appearance on March 25, 2009. He scored a goal during this game and Gabon won against Morocco by a score of 3-2.
